                    Third Quarter Comp Store Sales Up 8.9%

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Guess?, Inc. (NYSE: GES) today reported strong retail sales for the fiscal month of September which ended on October 1, 2005. Total retail sales for September were $57.6 million, an increase of 25.3% from sales of $45.9 million for the fiscal month ended October 2, 2004. Comparable store sales for the September period increased 14.2%. The Company noted that the sales for the month were driven by a larger percentage of full-price sales as compared to the prior year.

For the third quarter ended October 1, 2005, total retail sales increased 19.6% to $156.3 million compared to $130.6 million for the third quarter of 2004. Comparable store sales increased 8.9% during the third quarter of 2005.
