(NYSE:GES) today reported that total November retail sales for the four weeks ended December 1, 2001 were $33.6 million, a decrease of 9.2% from sales of $37.0 million for the four weeks ended December 2, 2000. Comparable store sales for the November period declined 13.6%. Comparable store sales for the Company's full priced retail stores decreased 14.8%, and comparable store sales at the factory outlet stores decreased 11.1%.
