Guess?, Inc. Reports 14.6% Increase in May Comparable Store Sales
Total Retail Sales for May Increase 20.0%

LOS ANGELES, Jun 3, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Guess?, Inc. (NYSE: GES) today reported that total May retail sales for the four weeks ended May 29, 2004 were $35.8 million, an increase of 20.0% from sales of $29.9 million for the four weeks ended May 31, 2003. Comparable store sales for the May period increased 14.6%.

Guess?, Inc. designs, markets, distributes and licenses a lifestyle collection of contemporary apparel, accessories and related consumer products.
