                Second Quarter Comparable Store Sales Up 15.1%

LOS ANGELES, July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Guess?, Inc. (NYSE: GES) today reported that total June retail sales for the four weeks ended June 26, 2004 were $34.6 million, an increase of 18.8% from sales of $29.2 million for the four weeks ended June 28, 2003. Comparable store sales for the June period increased 12.7%.

Total retail sales for the second quarter ended June 26, 2004 increased 20.5% to $115.2 million from $95.7 million for the second quarter of 2003. Comparable store sales increased 15.1% during the second quarter of 2004.
